Doug Bolt is a Managing Director of BlackArch. He has more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry, including nearly 15 years advising on mergers and acquisitions in the middle market with a particular focus on the healthcare and life science sectors. He has advised on sellside, buyside and equity and debt capital raising during his investment banking career.
Doug is head of BlackArch’s Life Science & Healthcare group. His sector-specific experience includes healthcare information technology, home health, medical devices, payor services, pharmacy and physician practice management.
Prior to joining BlackArch, Doug was head of the Life Sciences and Healthcare practice for Deloitte Corporate Finance, the investment banking group of Deloitte. Previously in his career, Doug worked at McColl Partners, Edgeview Partners and Bank of America. While at Edgeview, he was colleagues with many of BlackArch’s senior bankers.
Doug earned a Bachelor of Arts from Wake Forest University. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
Doug lives in Charlotte with his wife, daughter and two sons.
Brett Bond

Brett Bond is a Managing Director of BlackArch. He has more than 35 years of experience in the banking industry, including nearly 30 years advising on mergers and acquisitions in the middle market across a variety of industries and sectors. He has advised on sellside, buyside and equity and debt capital raising during his investment banking career.
Prior to joining BlackArch, Mr. Bond was a Managing Director in Regions Securities M&A advisory group, a Managing Director and Co-Founder in the Corporate Finance Group at Dixon Hughes Goodman (now Forvis), Managing Director in the M&A group at Cary Street Partners, Managing Director and Founding Partner at Triarch Partners, Director in the M&A group at Wachovia Securities (First Union, Bowles Hollowell Connor) and an Associate at Wheat First Butcher Singer. Prior to business school, Mr. Bond worked in corporate banking.
Mr. Bond received his Master of Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Trinity University, where he was a Presidential Scholar.
Mr. Bond lives in Charlotte with his wife and has a daughter and two sons who live in Massachusetts, Wyoming and Washington, D.C.
Brandon Boor

Brandon Boor is a Director at BlackArch and is a senior leader of BlackArch’s Industrial Products and Building Products & Infrastructures groups with expertise in metal products. Brandon has also gained industry experience across a range of other sectors, including Distribution, Aerospace & Defense, Energy & Industrial Services and Business Services. Prior to joining BlackArch, Brandon earned investment banking experience at Wells Fargo Securities supporting middle market M&A and capital raising transactions. Prior to his career in investment banking, Brandon served as a decorated officer in the U.S. Army, including a deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and subsequently held several leadership and operations management roles at Worthington Steel in helping to lead its large-scale enterprise transformation.
Brandon received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the Virginia Military Institute and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
Brandon lives in Charlotte with his wife and three children.
Gene Bowles
Managing Director
Gene Bowles is a Managing Director of BlackArch, which he joined in 2024 after leading the Corporate Finance and Sponsor Coverage groups at Regions Securities. Mr. Bowles has more than 25 years of broad investment banking and capital markets transaction experience in areas such as M&A, leveraged finance, public equity offerings, strategic alternatives advisory and private equity/mezzanine finance.
Prior to joining Regions Securities, Mr. Bowles was a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Group at Cary Street Partners, where he advised middle market companies on M&A and capital raising transactions across a wide range of industries. Prior to Cary Street, he was a Managing Director in the Financial Sponsors Group at Wachovia/Wells Fargo Securities where he managed the firm’s investment banking relationships with leading middle market private equity groups. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bowles was a founding member of Wachovia’s High Yield Capital Markets Group and a Director in the firm’s Leveraged Capital Group, which provided “one-stop” bank and mezzanine capital for middle market private equity transactions.
Mr. Bowles earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
Clay Bryan
Managing Director
Clay Bryan is a Managing Director at BlackArch focused on developing enduring relationships with financial sponsors. He has more than 23 years of M&A and leveraged finance execution and sponsor coverage experience advising clients across a variety of industries.
Clay began his career in the M&A and then Financial Sponsors Groups at Citigroup and Deutsche Bank, respectively, and has spent the last 16 years focused on the middle market. Prior to joining BlackArch, Clay lead the sponsor coverage practice for B. Riley. He previously founded and grew the function at FocalPoint prior to that firm’s acquisition by B. Riley in early 2022. Clay was also a Managing Director at Cappello Global, where he advised on M&A, private placement, and special situation mandates.
Clay earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Economics from Georgia State University. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children and is active in the community through his involvement with the Water Buffalo Club, a charitable organization dedicated to fostering the well-being of underserved and at-risk children in Los Angeles.
Will Cooper
Managing Director
Will Cooper (a.k.a. “Coop”) is a founder and Managing Director of BlackArch and serves on the firm’s executive leadership team. He has 27 years of experience in middle-market mergers and acquisitions transactions, including more than 100 sellside, buyside and strategic advisory assignments.
Coop serves as co-head of the firm's broader services practices, including his role as co-head of BlackArch's Energy & Industrial Services group (his sector-specific experience includes TIC, infrastructure, environmental, renewables and safety) as well as an intensive focus on residential services and car wash. His diverse experience also includes distribution and packaging, in addition to a wide variety of other industries. Prior to helping start BlackArch, Coop was a director with Edgeview Partners, a leading middle-market investment bank based in Charlotte. Prior to joining Edgeview Partners in 2005, he was a director in the Mergers & Acquisitions practice of Ernst & Young Corporate Finance LLC (“EYCF”).
Coop earned both a Master of Science in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Wake Forest University. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, where he was named a Fuqua Scholar.
Coop lives in Charlotte with his wife and two younger sons. His two grown sons live in Texas.
Zach Daniels

Zach Daniels is a Vice President at BlackArch. He has nearly a decade of experience executing middle-market investment banking transactions, including advising on mergers and acquisitions of companies across a diverse range of industries and business models. Much of his transaction experience includes working with companies across BlackArch's Business Services, Consumer Products & Services, Distribution and Industrial Products groups.
Prior to joining BlackArch, Zach worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the firm’s financial services assurance practice, primarily serving clients in the asset management sector. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of North Carolina.
Zach earned a Master of Science in Accountancy from the Wake Forest University School of Business. Prior to earning his master’s degree, he graduated with honors from North Carolina State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
Zach resides in Charlotte with his wife, son and daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, playing golf, supporting his favorite sports teams and frequenting local restaurants and breweries.
Eddy Gullino

Eddy Gullino is a Vice President at BlackArch and has more than five years of experience executing middle-market investment banking transactions across a range of sectors, including Automotive Aftermarket, Consumer, Distribution, and Industrials. Prior to joining BlackArch, Eddy interned at Bluebell Partners in London and Europa Investimenti in Milan.
Eddy earned a Master of Science in Finance with honors from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Erskine College. While at Erskine, he was captain of the varsity soccer team and member of the tennis team.
Eddy lives in Charlotte with his wife. In his spare time, he enjoys running, reading and supporting his favorite soccer team.
Grant Hamilton

Grant Hamilton is a Managing Director of BlackArch and serves on the firm’s executive leadership team. He has more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry, including 20 years advising on mergers and acquisitions in the middle market with a particular focus on building products and diversified industrials sectors.
Grant is head of BlackArch’s Building Products & Infrastructure group and co-head of the Industrial Products group. He also has diverse transaction experience in distribution & supply chain management, transportation & logistics, consumer & retail and business & professional services.
Prior to joining BlackArch, Grant was co-head of the Building Products & Construction practice for Piper Jaffray (now Piper Sandler), a global full-service investment bank, within the Diversified Industrials & Services group. Grant started his investment banking career with Edgeview Partners, a leading middle-market investment bank based in Charlotte, where he worked with many of BlackArch’s senior bankers. Piper Jaffray acquired Edgeview Partners in 2013.
Prior to Piper Jaffray, Grant was an associate with Bank One Capital Markets and assistant vice president with Bank One’s commercial banking department where he primarily worked with middle-market industrial businesses.
Grant earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Miami University, where he earned the Mary Sheehan International Scholarship. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Grant lives in Charlotte with his wife, two sons and daughter.
Glenn Holloway

Glenn Holloway is a Managing Director at BlackArch, serving in the capacities of CFO and COO. He has over twenty years of financial services experience supporting both retail and commercial/institutional segments.
Glenn’s experience includes a range of products and services, including: wealth management; commercial financing and syndications; debt and equity capital raising; mergers and acquisitions; CRE and LIHTC syndications; multi-family/agency lending; asset securitization; and derivatives and fx trading. Glenn possesses a vast array of financial support experience customary of the CFO suite, in addition to being securities principal and broker-dealer FinOp.
Glenn earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from James Madison University with concentrations in finance and French.
Glenn lives in Fort Mill, SC with his wife, three children and the family pet.
Ryan Jackson
Managing Director
Ryan Jackson is a Managing Director of BlackArch. He has 15 years of experience in the investment banking industry, advising middle-market clients on mergers and acquisitions, growth financings and strategic advisory assignments. He joined the BlackArch Partners investment banking team in 2010.
Ryan is head of BlackArch’s Business Services group and co-head of BlackArch’s car wash practice. He also has diverse industry experience across a range of other sectors including life science & healthcare, distribution and industrial products.
Prior to joining BlackArch in 2010, Ryan began his career in the investment banking division of Morgan Joseph & Co., a global full service investment bank headquartered in New York. While earning his master’s degree he also worked at Concentric Equity Partners in Chicago.
Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with distinction, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Business Administration, with honors, from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Ryan lives in Charlotte with his wife and sons.
Jess Love

Jess Love is a Vice President at BlackArch with a focus on the firm's Life Science & Healthcare and Business Service groups. She also has diverse industry experience across Industrial Products and Distribution.
Prior to joining BlackArch, Jess practiced as a corporate and M&A attorney with Alston & Bird LLP and Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP.
Jess earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, with highest distinction, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a Morehead-Cain Scholar. She also earned a Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she was a member of the North Carolina Banking Institute Journal.
Jess lives in Belmont, just outside of Charlotte, with her husband and three children. In her spare time, Jess enjoys live music, boating on Lake Wylie and traveling.
Will Mackvick

Will Mackvick is a Managing Director at BlackArch and serves as co-head of the firm's Energy & Industrial Services group. He also has diverse industry experience across a wide range of other sectors and BlackArch industry groups, including Distribution, Business Services and Industrial Products. Prior to BlackArch, Will worked for CapitalSouth Partners, as well as in the Listed Derivatives group at Credit Suisse.
Will received a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a minor in Accounting from North Carolina State University, where he was also goalkeeper for the men’s varsity soccer team.
Will lives in Charlotte with his wife, son and daughter.
P.J. Martin
Managing Director
P.J. Martin is a Managing Director of BlackArch. He has more than 16 years of experience advising on privately-held and sponsor-backed middle-market investment banking transactions, including sellside and buyside mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory and financings, with a particular focus on the industrials sector.
P.J. co-heads BlackArch's Industrial Products group, with a particular focus on manufactured and distributed products. More broadly, P.J. has experience working with engineered products companies serving several sectors, including: flow control & filtration, industrial connection solutions, HVAC products, sensors & automation, life sciences and energy & industrial services. P.J. joined BlackArch in 2014 following three years in New York City in Barclays' M&A group, where he focused on larger middle-market sellside transactions. Prior to his time at Barclays, P.J. spent four years as an analyst and associate with Edgeview Partners (acquired by Piper Sandler), a middle-market investment bank based in Charlotte, where he worked with many of BlackArch's senior bankers.
P.J. earned his undergraduate degree from Davidson College where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. While at Davidson, P.J. was a four-year member and Captain of the varsity golf team. He holds a Master of Business Administration with distinction from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, where he was the Tiger Management MBA Fellow and a recipient of the Falls Prize.

Ian Mackay

Ian Mackay is a Managing Director of BlackArch. He has 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, capital raising, real estate leasing, and senior/junior debt financing. He serves as head of BlackArch’s Financial Sponsors group focusing on middle market private equity groups and family offices. Ian is known for providing thoughtful, timely, and creative solutions working closely with his industry partners to achieve premier outcomes for his clients.
Prior to joining BlackArch, Ian was a founding member of the Financial Sponsors group at Raymond James and spent 12 years contributing to the significant growth of the firm. Prior to Raymond James, he spent 8 years at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey where he served in a variety of roles (corporate lending, capital markets, real estate structured leasing, and financial sponsor coverage).
Ian earned his undergraduate degree from Furman University. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia, where he concentrated in corporate finance and management information systems.
Ian lives in Atlanta with his wife and six children.
Tyler Menges

Tyler Menges is a Vice President at BlackArch. Previously, Tyler was a private equity associate at Ridgemont Equity Partners and an analyst at BlackArch.
Tyler graduated with distinction from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with a major in finance. At Indiana, Tyler was a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity, the men’s club volleyball team and the Investment Banking Workshop.
Tyler's interests and hobbies include golf, table tennis, exploring local breweries and German electronic music.
Thomas Napier

Thomas Napier is a Vice President and has more than ten years of experience advising middle-market clients on mergers and acquisitions and strategic advisory assignments. Thomas is a senior leader of BlackArch’s Industrial Products, Energy & Industrial Services, Aerospace & Defense and Business Services Groups, with substantial experience in Safety & Security products, services and technologies. He also has diversified experience across a range of other industry groups and sectors, including Building Products & Infrastructure, Distribution and Financial Services.
Prior to joining BlackArch in 2018, Thomas began his investment banking career in the Financial Institutions Investment Banking group at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods (KBW), where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and capital market transactions for depository institutions. Prior to beginning his career in investment banking, Thomas served as an infantry fireteam leader in the U.S. Marine Corps, deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Thomas earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, with honors, from the University of Kentucky. He holds a Master of Science in Finance from Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, where he earned the distinction of Charles F. Knight Scholar.

Nhan Nguyen

Nhan Nguyen is a Vice President at BlackArch. Prior to joining BlackArch, he worked in the assurance practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers, focusing on the banking and capital markets sector. Nhan started his career at the Naval Sea Systems Command in the aircraft carrier procurement division.
Nhan earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Accounting degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also earned a Master of Business Administration from the Yale School of Management.
Nhan lives in Charlotte and enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants and cheering for the Tar Heels.
Ben Purinton

Ben Purinton is a Vice President at BlackArch. He has eight years of experience executing middle market investment banking transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory and financings across a diverse range of industries and business models. Prior to joining BlackArch, Ben worked in the Capital Markets group at Regions Securities.
Ben graduated with honors from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance and a minor in Economics.
Ben lives in Charlotte and enjoys reading, writing and playing guitar.

Ches Riley is a founder and Managing Director of BlackArch. He has more than 20 years of experience in middle-market mergers and acquisitions transactions.
Ches is head of BlackArch's Consumer Products & Services group and head of BlackArch's Food & Beverage group. His transaction experience includes a wide cross-section of additional industries, including distribution & supply chain management, industrial growth & diversified manufacturing, applied technology & digital media and real estate.
Prior to helping found BlackArch, Ches was a founder of Edgeview Partners and was with First Union Securities Mergers and Acquisitions Group, formerly Bowles Hollowell Conner.
Ches earned a Bachelor of Arts from Furman University, where he was on the Dean's List. He was a four-year starter on the varsity soccer team, where he received a scholarship and earned all-conference accolades. Ches received a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in finance, from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business of Georgia State University.
He lives with his wife, son and daughter in Charlotte.
Sonny Siragusa

Sonny Siragusa is a Vice President at BlackArch Partners, where he provides execution and advisory support on mergers and acquisitions for middle-market clients. He has experience across a range of industries, including Aerospace & Defense, Business Services, and Distribution. Prior to rejoining BlackArch, Sonny served as Vice President of Corporate Development for a national employee benefits administrator, where he led the sourcing and execution of multiple strategic acquisitions. Earlier in his career, he served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps.
Sonny earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a Master of Business Administration from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
Sonny lives in Charlotte with his wife, two daughters, and two dogs, and enjoys playing golf, cheering on Navy football, and spending time with his family.
Charles Thompson
Managing Director
Charles Thompson is a Managing Director of BlackArch and serves on the firm’s executive leadership team. He is head of BlackArch’s Aerospace & Defense group and co-head of the Industrial Products group. He has more than 20 years of diverse professional experience in investment banking, public and private operating companies, and management consulting.
Chuck was most recently chief financial officer of Frontier Services Group Ltd., a publicly traded business based in Hong Kong with operations in Africa, Europe, and mainland China. In that role, he oversaw all financial reporting to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the Board of Directors, and shareholders, in addition to his handling of various investor, treasury, human resource, and information technology responsibilities. While with Frontier Services Group Ltd., Chuck also led the acquisition of businesses over two years in southern Europe, Kenya, D.R. Congo, and South Africa.
Chuck was also a senior executive with Hawke Aerospace Holdings and a managing director with Edgeview Partners, having joined the firm in early 2002 shortly after its founding. Chuck began his career as an associate with InterData, Inc., a consulting firm focused on the automotive industry.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Colby College and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University.
Adam Tindel

Adam Tindel is a Managing Director of BlackArch and serves on the firm’s executive leadership team. He has 18 years of experience executing middle-market investment banking transactions, including sellside and buyside mergers and acquisitions engagements, public offerings, and private placements.
Adam is head of BlackArch’s Distribution and Automotive Aftermarket groups and co-head of the firm's broader services practices. He also has diverse industry experience across a wide range of other sectors, including transportation & logistics, food & beverage and industrial products.
Prior to joining BlackArch, Adam was an associate at Macquarie Capital and an analyst at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey.
Adam earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with highest distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Business Administration with distinction from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
He lives in Charlotte with his wife, daughter and son.
Matt Welch
Managing Director
Matt Welch is a Managing Director of BlackArch. He has more than 20 years of experience in the banking and finance industry, including 18 years advising on mergers and acquisitions with a particular focus on consumer, retail and healthcare sectors. He has advised on sellside, buyside, hostile takeover defense and equity/debt capital raising during his investment banking career.
Prior to joining BlackArch, Matt was a senior leader of the Consumer, Retail and Healthcare M&A practice at Wells Fargo Securities. More broadly, Matt has experience working with Transportation, Distribution and Communications clients. Previously in his career, Matt worked at Wachovia, Ridgecrest Capital Partners and Duke Energy.
Matt earned his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He also holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
Matt lives in Charlotte with his wife and two children.
